What makes these models different? Each model has a unique combination of package features and engine specs. The TLX has three engine options.

• 2.4L, 206 HP, i-VTEC inline with 8-speed DCT with torque converter and P-AWS

• 3.5L, 290 HP, i-VTEC V-6 with 9-speed automatic transmission and P-AWS

• SH-AWD 3.5L, 290 HP, V6, 9-speed automatic transmission

Performance

2016 TLX offers a wide range of powertrain and drivetrain options. Choose an engine option based on two high-output direct-injected i-VTEC engines, two advanced transmissions and Acura’s latest performance technologies.

• P-AWS®:  Acura’s Precision All-Wheel Steer™technology is designed to make it easier to drive in tight spaces and to give you more control at high speeds. P-AWS® adjusts the TLX rear wheel angles to match the front wheels.

• SH-AWD: The TLX SH-AWD is equipped with Acura’s next-generation Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive technology. SH-AWD directs engine power to the wheels based on weight distribution, available traction, driver input and road conditions.

• AGA®: Agile Handling Assist enhances the handling. The technology uses active braking techniques to to help create a smooth drive.

Package Options

There are only two packages available for the 2016 TLX. The Technology Package is available on all models. The Advanced Package is only available on 2016 TLX models with a 3.5L engine.
